In last few years, the ribbon controller is getting be one of my lifework. I think that at the winter of last year, my Ribbon Controller get at the start line to be called as musical instruments. if I practice to play my Ribbon Controller more, they can be used as UI to perform music instead of keyboard . They can expand not only the the possiblity performing music, but also musical expressions. development of the performance style and the technique should be an important theme.

MOD's Monotron and MIDI-rized Nanokey

In 2010/03/25, Korg had announced the brand new Analog ribbon synthesizer. It is called Monotron. Before this, Nanokey had also announced as an input keyboard for DTM. And My frined Living in far from tokyo, called RadioJunkBox develop the machine to change the USB-MIDI output into legacy MIDI. I try to build it and make them as duet with Monotron.
I'd put my Monotron to the other new case and it has MIDI-IF, glide, pulse wave converter that can change it width, noise gate and output bufer.it sounds good!

ESM2is Elementary Synthesizer Module. In Autum of 2009, RadioJunkBoxhad developed this. this is just as a borad but it includes all we need for building analog synthesizer. this board allow you to build your own orignal synthesizer for very easy. this board has also MIDI-IF but i use it as CV+GATE to sound my ribbon controller.

SX-150 with MIDI-Interface

This hardware can sound SX-150 through MIDI that there is no mod on it. I make this for AC-adopter only and make it small. However, this box has 440A osc for tune. MIDI signal for pitch bend and Mod wheel can be received. the speed for modulation and wave shape can be changed. Glide and Tune knob is also there.

In The winter of 2009, Analog2.0had been announced. It's a garage kit for full analog moduler synthesizer. I'v got it and build it. The panel is defferent from orignal design. this is beatnic.jp version. So many people intersted in this kits. Please, come around and touch this to make your own sounds!

at the musical event called as 'chabu-dai music #3' on Autum 2009, 'benkei' (it's handle name comming form old Japanese warrior) had bring uniq noise machine. I love it so, I build it by using just one AVR chip.
it's just simple noiｓe. but when you beat its switch, just a only noise get a groovy beats. feel wonder with us!

this is talking box. I made it from PET bottle for Coca Cola and call it as talking bottle. all the people comes MTM loves this. It's simple and fun.
